9 March 1990 Daily Trojan (University of Southern California) Josh Didn't Satisfy Imagine our disappointment when for weeks we see signs saying "Josh is Coming," only to find out he's preaching sexual abstinence! This double message is all too common for "evangelists" confused by their own sex-negative attitudes. It reminds me of the story of the pompous prude who expresses indignation at something sensuous by saying, "Well, I never!" to which the well-adjusted human being replies, "I'm not surprised!" |
